Patriot Campers is proudly partnering with Swiss 8 to help ignite the conversation around mental health to show how taking action can combat isolation and disconnection from your mates.

Swiss 8, a Veteran-led mental health charity, has launched their latest mental health campaign for all Australians – A BBQ To Remember, an initiative encouraging Aussies to connect with their mates over a BBQ on or around Remembrance Day, to pause and reflect on the sacrifices of our courageous men and women in uniform.

Registrations for hosting A BBQ To Remember are now live.

Alongside the BBQ To Remember Initiative, Swiss 8 is also kicking off an epic fundraising raffle. Tickets only cost $5, and the winner will take home an amazing adventure prize valued at over $180,000, which includes a VW Amarok, a Patriot Campers X1-N, Quintrex boat, Ringers Western voucher, KTM dirt bike, iCoolsport ice bath, 12 cases of Bloke in a Bar beer, a year’s supply of meat trays from the winner’s local butcher, and of course, a Weber BBQ. Buy tickets here.

All proceeds from A BBQ To Remember go towards supporting Swiss 8, the Veteran-led mental health charity. Swiss 8 uses Veteran lived experience and data-driven technology to build proactive mental health tools for all Australians.

“Camping is something that has always been important to our family because it gives us some space to reset mentally from the stresses of everyday life, which is why we believe in Swiss 8 and their mission of Mental Health Awareness. We want to encourage all Aussies to get their mates together and host their own BBQ to Remember on November 11, 2021, after all, what could be more Aussie than that?” Justin Montesalvo, Director of Patriot Campers.
