In 2013, Patriot Campers took the Camper Trailer industry world by storm with the release of their first ever Patriot Camper model, dubbed the ‘X1’. Since then, this family owned Australian Camper Trailer manufacturer hasn’t slowed down. Winning Australian Camper Trailer of the year seven times.
Fast forward to 2022, Patriot Campers is still striving to build the most sought-after off-road camper trailers and 4×4 camping products in the world.
In March this year, Patriot Campers released their 2022 X-Range of Camper Trailers. With customer feedback being at the forefront of all their designs, Patriot Campers decided to take some existing customers on a camping weekend away to test the new 2022 X-Range.

In 2022 all these trailers have been redefined, firstly through new decals! These decals don’t just signify the more noticeable differences in the 2022 changeover, but also the smaller manufacturing refinements that we are rolling out across the models all the time that keep innovation at the forefront of every Patriot Camper designed.
NEW AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM
The all new PCOR® Air filtration system has been added to all models allowing for easy cleaning, increased drainage & improved air flow into compartments throughout the camper trailer.
STRONGER AND RUGGED ANDERSON PLUG DESIGN
Additionally, the camper trailers’ Anderson plug has been redesigned for increased strain relief and durability for the most important connection from vehicle to camper trailer.
ADDITIONAL AWNING SUPPORT
To further increase the camper trailer’s durability, new awning support cradles have been added to our camper trailer models for added awning stability in harsh offroad conditions.
INCREASED SOLAR CAPACITY
On top of this, the X1-H and X3 now have a 120W Redarc Solar panel (optional on the X3). This is fixed to the roof of the hardtop lid and has been designed for faster solar charging and increased solar power capacity. Leading charge straight back into the camper trailer. Perfect for those who like to stay off grid for longer. No need to rely on a power bank. The X-Range power options allow for charging comforts of the home while being off grid.
